Vizo Shuttle Portable 2.5" HDD Enclosure

Introduction:

     Well here I go again reviewing another product from VIZO. This time its the VIZO Portable 2.5" HDD Enclosure. If you remember I reviewed the Luxon 3.5" HDD enclosure. Which was a very nice and stylish product. Both products are plug and play via the USB cable which keeps you from rebooting the computer.

    The retail package for the Shuttle is just like all other VIZO products and is of high quality. The front and back of the box is loaded with details about the product inside. The included contents with the VIZO Shuttle are 1 small phillip screwdriver, 1 leather pouch for the enclosure and 1 USB Y-cable. More on the cable in the installation section.

A Closer Look:

    The VIZO Shuttle main body consists of aluminum with end caps made from plastic. The aluminum body will help dissipate the heat generated from the HDD. The one end is just blank and keeps the HDD from falling out the back end. The other end cap is removable and actually plugs into the HDD and then the unit slides into the Shuttle enclosure.
