Introduction Vantec has been very active in the modding market lately with their own line of UV Fans and also Fan Controllers (Rheobus). While the function of these products remains the same as with others in the market, Vantec has always been able to make theirs unique. And just when you though they couldn't have get any better, they threw a curve-ball at ya and came up with their latest in the rheobus line, the Nexus NXP-301. So apart from the obvious different model number, what's so different about this new model? The main difference here is that they included a Cold Cathode sound control kit to their rheobus! Sure, you can get a separate kit for that but by integrating it into the rheobus design, it saves you space and cabling mess. OK, enough blabbering... let's see this new rheobus kit then! First up, let's see the specs for the unit. Features

The Package When the package arrived here in the VH Labs, I was totally blown away by it. I mean, I've always been impressed with the way Vantec markets and packages their stuff but this is definitely way cool for a rheobus kit! I wondered when Vantec starts to make videocards as that's what the package tells me at first glance! Now let's see those Taiwanese copy-cats copy this! The package is beautifully designed with lots of graphics telling the user the accessories that comes with it and also specifications. Opening up the package reveals the individual parts neatly packed into a clear moulded plastic tray. You'll find the following in the NXP-301 package.
