Installation:

After removing the Tower 120 from the box I wasn't sure if this belonged in my computer or the kitchen. "IT SLICES! IT DICES! IT SCARES THE CAT, THE DOG, THE WHOLE FAMILY! AND IT COOLS YOUR CPU!" I was going to push some potatoes through the fins and make some chips or slice some veggies for a salad.

The Tuniq Tower 120 is huge and hefty. If you travel with your case I would recommend you remove the cooler before you hit the road.

For the AMD64 owners: installation will be easy, just remove the 2 screws and the stock plastic unit around the CPU.

For the Intel owners: if your motherboard is already mounted in your case, you will have to remove it, the bracket around the CPU, and use the supplied pieces from Tuniq.

Mounting this beast was not so difficult, just use the supplied hardware and follow the instructions. The supplied thermal was very thick and difficult to apply. It didn't want to stick to anything other than my fingers.

After installation, I found that the pigtail for the fan's power is long enough to plug into any free spot on your motherboard. If you have wires that are too long you can coil them by wrapping the wires around the shaft of a screwdriver or pencil.

The supplied fan controller which is mounted in the PCI slot has a long pigtail of about 15". This is a good idea for people with a window: they have the the ability to route the wire out of sight.
