Introduction:
Not much to say here,
Thermaltake
sent an RX K8 for me to review, at first glance, it's a fairly normal CPU
cooler, by that I mean it doesn't stick out 3 feet in every direction, blink
with 12 blindly bright LED's.

I think I’m going to get tired of saying
this, but umm “Lets get the stats over with”… there, I said it.

Overview:
Installation was just as easy as they claim. Spread goop,
push it on, hook the metal clip on the motherboard adaptor, then flip the lever.

After my debacle with Big Typhoon, I was
really happy to have such a simple, yet effective method.

The fins and base are all copper, thin, but sturdy. The
finish on the base is far from shiny, I know a lot of people put a lot of stock
in a perfect base, but I don’t care what it looks like, as long as it works.
Of course the fan is a special touch, with
almost no frame, it
supposedly makes it quieter. I do like the look it gives the heatsink,
sort of minimalist.
