SunbeamTech recently sent us their newest chassis, the Trio, to examine. This visually stunning case brings a new level of elegance to market along with a few unfortunate design flaws. The case is available in three color schemes and all include a 450w power supply, 120mm fan, 80mm fan, and front mounted gauges.

  As you can see the case is quite visually appealing. The name comes from the three gauges mounted on the front bezel which provide monitoring for temperature, fan speed, and sound output. The gauges have blue backlighting, and the front door which opens to the left utilizes magnets to hold it closed.

Continued Inspection:

   The side panel is secured by two thumbscrews, and the window is fitted with an 80mm intake fan which is lit by four blue LED's. Here we see the expansion slot retention system - a plastic strip mounted to the back of the case with sliding latches for each expansion slot. This system works wonderfully and provides a much more efficient method for security expansion cards. The case comes with an unbranded power supply that is self-rated at 450watts.
