Closer Look The TJ03 Nimiz incorporates a 2 door design for its' front bezel with the Silverstone logo etched onto the top door. With the door, the case has that clean and sophisticated look to it and it's a fresh design amongst all the bling that we're seeing nowadays. I know a lot of users will like the clean look and it seems that the TJ03 Nimiz will blend well with any Hi-Fi systems tool. The bottom part of the bezel has a small hinged door and opening it reveals the front 4 x USB2.0 Ports, a Firewire Port and Audio Jacks, something we would find in most cases today. The plastic clip holds the small door firmly but the it does rattles a little but not too muc to cause any annoyance. Place somewhere in the middle are the Power/Reset buttons and LEDs. The buttons are also made from aluminium to continue that feel to the whole case. I haven't had any problems whatsoever with the buttons catching onto the openings as reported by some review sites. I guess Silverstone has made improvements to this part of the case. Both doors opens to the right although you can have it open to the opposite side but it does involves a little work on your part. The lower door opens to reveal a 120mm fan port, equipped with filter and also a plastic fan grill. The internal part also houses the front USB/Firewire/Audio ports and also the LEDs/Buttons as well. And if you look closely, there are many small cooling vents at both sides of the door. This enables air to pass thru for the fan since there's no vents directly in front of the fan. The top door hides not 3 or 4 but 6 5.25" drive bays! That's probably more than what the average user might need or use, but it could come in handy as well. There's no 3.5" drive bays though and the only way you could fita 3.5" device is thru Silverstone's own transfer bay which costs a somewhat ridiculous S$35! The case alone costs S$465 and you would imagined that they could at least provide one of the transfer bay with the case. Both doors are held in place when closed by magnets and they are strong enough to hold the doors in place while still making it easy for the user to open the dorr without using too much force. An 80mm fan port at the top helps to expel hot air
from the case and again, it resembles the ones we're used to seeing
on Coolmaster's case. At the rear, dual 80mm fans, complete with
fan grills also helps to cool the case interior. No stamped fan
grills here and this is something that I would definitely like to
see on every case out there. The installed PSU support bracket accepts
standard PS2 PSUs and Silverstone
also provided a bracket for use with a redundant PSU, if you have
one.
