Conclusion: Well as we can see from the Performance results, this OCZ Mini-Kart is geared towards ultra small size and not geared for the best performance. The 57ms access times and and the lackluster 14MB/s burst speeds are below average. However the "average" USB flash drives are much larger in size and design. What really sets this unit apart is the size. It's honestly so small, you can slip it just about anywhere. Anywhere you can fit a quarter, you should be able to fit this Mini-Kart. Although performance was less than average, it still performed flawlessly every time I plugged it into a USB port. Upon initial plug-in, windows XP SP2 took only a few seconds to initiate the drive and I was ready to transfer data onto it. So in closing, I'd just have to recommend this unit for it's flawless operation (even though it doesn't look like a typical USB connection, it works perfectly), and for it's ultra-slim design. It's the smallest USB flash drive I've ever seen, and at capacities all the way up to 2GB currently, it's a no-brainer for that person looking for something so small, they can hide it anywhere. Kudos go out to OCZ to take on such a challenge of making the Mini-Kart. It's a well designed and constructed product that is sure to stand up to plenty of use. Finally once again I'd like to thank OCZ for sending me the 1GB Mini-Kart Flash Drive. It was a pleasure reviewing, which can't be said for a lot of products.
