Introduction: iStarUSA previously sent me the S-8 Storm Series Case for review. It had some issues that were more of an attention to detail problem rather than a quality problem. iStar's specialty is more in the professional office or server market. There are plenty of server and professional solutions to fit any kind of hardware requirement you might have. Among them are some of the nicest rack mount frames and cases I've seen and worked with. To provide services and products to the server market, a company will specialize in every detail from the screws to the racks and rack cases. Every product must endure abuse and constant usage. The hardware can't be weak or faulty, which means no skimping on the wiring and components or the company will fail quickly. If they seriously want to compete, their products will have to be upper echelon. iStar has that kind of rack mount and professional hardware, but what about the products to power them? It would have to be extremely reliable, extremely stable, and have ample power. The iStar STC-750PD2 is one such product more apt to be used by serious power users, such as administrators, elite overclockers, and multitasking gamers. It has ample power and has plenty of wattage to go around. It's time to put iStar to the test.
