Introduction: FrozenCPU offers a wide variety of products in many different styles and types. This time I'm going to be reviewing a demo type unit. The parts consist of a Thermalrock Dragon aluminum gaming case and water cooling components by Alphacool. First I'll be reviewing the ThermalRock, then the Alphacool items. All of these items will be available separately on the FrozenCPU website and I will put a link to each component. FrozenCPU will be offering a full line of Alphacool items along with their selection of cases. At this time, complete ready-to-run kits are not available and not offered on the site.
Packaging This package arrived to me in the retail box with some minor damage. Upon further inspection, the damage was held to the box only and none of the contents were damaged. The retail box is HUGE. I thought the water cooling components might have been in a separate section in the main box. Nope; I was wrong. This case is just that big. The case is protected with the softer foam as opposed to the harder Styrofoam and wrapped in a plastic bag. After removing the case from the box and checking for damage, none was found. That's always a good thing. One nice thing they did in the packaging department was to add crumpled up paper in the case to protect the water cooling components that had been installed. Without a doubt, this saved the inside pieces and parts.
