Introduction

In recent times, power supplies are getting as much attention in the mods department as cases. You see all types of colors today. You'll find steel ones, aluminum ones, black, white, yellow and blue ones...lighted and non-lighted. Today I have one such lighted power supply new to the market known as the ThermalTake 480W Butterfly ATX PSU from CrazyPC.Com I prefer to call this setup a system since all the pieces work in conjunction with one another, like a "system". ThermalTake has always been known as producing some quality products, albeit alittle boring and over-hyped. It seems everytime you turn around they're another foot deeper in the mod industry. This new "Butterfly" product is no exception there. It's big, it's bright, it's powerful, and it's down right sexy. Jet black casing, Multi-colored sleeving, 7 color changing led's, and even compatibility with the new SATA. Too bad the accessories that came with it leave alot to be desired.

More than a PSU in there!

When I took the PSU box outta the shipping box, I was like "damn!". This box is big and square. Not your typical PSU box. There's more goodies to be had here. Quite an informative box too. Here's some more mind-numbing specs for ya....
