be quiet! Dark Power Pro power supply
In today's crosshairs we
have a couple of modular power supplies from a company called
be quiet! That's
right, I said BE QUIET! This is another new company to me and looking over their
site, I've found they offer some really nice looking power supplies at many different
price levels.
be quiet! sent out 2 power supplies for review: the BQT P6
PRO750W and the BQT P6 PRO-850W. These units are identical in every way except
for the 100W difference, which is spread out over several of the power rails.
Also these power supplies have been Nvidia SLI and ATI CrossFire approved.
About the Company:

Guaranteed.
It doesn’t matter, which PSU model of be quiet! you choose - you always get an

be quiet! power supplies are always characterized by an extremely low noise
level. We believe that performance does not have to be loud. This assures you
the possibility to concentrate on important things, while working with your

Another box |

Finally a PSU |

Cable box |

Colored ties |
Like I mentioned in the
introduction, these two power supplies are identical... even down to the packaging. The
boxes are wrapped in clear plastic so you can tell if they have been tampered
with. Each of
the boxes have a picture of the modular power supply on the front and a cable
breakdown on the back. The top of the box has a set of scary green eyes staring
you down.
After opening up the top of
the box you are greeted with another box. This box contains all the cables for
the modular setup. Under this box is the modular
Dark Power Pro PSU,
wrapped in bubble wrap for extra protection. Cable ties are also included in
several colors to help manage all the cables that are being used.
