A Closer Look: Removing the Q-Pack from the box was a pleasant surprise because I was greeted with a small, sturdy, and lightweight chassis. I've been reviewing cases for 6 years now and I've seen just about everything out there. And just when you think their couldn't possibly be another case design, another one comes along. However this time, it's a welcomed addition to the PC chassis family: The Q-Pack. The Aspire Q-Pack is primarily geared toward the LAN Party toting gamer and a few of its features and specs give you a pretty good clue of that: The built-in carry handle and the 420w custom power supply. The carry handle should be standard equipment on all so-called LAN cases, but sadly it's rarely included. The Inside of the Q-Pack is exceptionally well laid out given the size, but that's not even the best part. This case includes the holy grail of PC chassis convenience: the slide out motherboard tray! That's right, this little baby has a full size slide out motherboard tray where you can assemble the complete core of the system including the motherboard, CPU, Cooler, Memory, and all your AGP/PCI(e) cards, then simply slide that back into the chassis and tighten 2 screws. Done! The case cover is a solid one-piece cover that once removed leaves you with complete access to the entire innards of the Q-Pack. Honestly, I think it's the best design for this particular case. Just 3 screws (located on back) hold the cover on, and you can easily convert them to thumbscrews for a quick on/off procedure. The model of the Q-Pack came with 3, count them 3, windowed panels included. That leaves you with full view of the interior with then cover on, and also allows a good bit of those included blue LED fans` light to shine out. Looks great in a dark room for sure.
