Rear 120mm Blue LED Fan

Antec-Inc has been on a roll lately developing and launching a few new styles of computer chassis`. However they have not forgotten one of their biggest sellers: The SX1000 Series.

As fantastic and popular the SX1000 series was, there was room for improvement, namely the 4x80mm fan layout and the lack of easy modding solutions. The case was designed in a way to be great from the start, but very hard to modify due to it's proprietary fan cages. In other words, to "simply" cut out stamped steel and add chrome grills was pretty much out of the question for most.

Antec has fixed 50% of that problem with this new release: The Plusview II, by taking away the dual 80mm fan layout and replacing it with a single 120mm fan.

Other models with this interior fan design layout include the TX1088AMG and the TX1050.

The Plusview II seems to be designed along the same idea as their super popular Super Lanboy series of cases, meaning blue glow + window = SALES! The big difference between these two is the fact that the Super Lanboy is a good bit smaller, has dual 120mm blue led fans, and designed for the LAN gamer in mind with its lightweight aluminum construction. This Plusview II is NOT constructed of lightweight aluminum, but rather 1.0mm steel, and it's also larger in dimension and has only one 120mm blue led fan in the rear. Think of bigger, classier and more storage vs. smaller, flashier and more mobile.

Don't get me wrong, you can still be plenty flashy in this Plusview II chassis, hence the window, etc, however the one I received from Antec-Inc is jet black and very handsome also. I'm definitely going to be adding my patented top handles to it the first chance I get. It's a heavy S.O.B.

Ok, let's get the obligatory specifications out of the way so I can get on to showing you more of the goods!
