Introduction:

Not too long ago, Antec came out with the SOHO Series Chassis that pretty much took the market by storm. Modders and enthusiasts alike found this to be a favorite choice because of its function and style. It is still one of the nicest cases to work with and has the aesthetics to boot. VH's very own Diceman, used a SOHO series case for years , one such incarnation which he reviewed here, and kept by his desk for quite some time. Despite reviewing many other decent cases, he never left his case and for good reasons. It set some standards as what an ideal case should be.

Antec has helped spawn a motivated generation of innovative case manufacturers looking to sport and sell their most prized products. Antec was kind enough to send me the Antec P-180B. There are certain aspects one expects to accompany a case made by Antec. Let me give you a tour of and show you what I mean.

Contents:

When I saw the 28x28x12 box, I realized one of two things, either this was a well stuffed box or a larger mid-tower case. It turns out it wasn't overstuffed by some standards, but it was a bit under padded considering the abuse some of these boxes undergo. Fortunately, the foam inserts were quite thick which made the box more rigid for shipping. Antec also put a piece of piece of foam inside the front bezel compartment to help prevent it from being pushed in.
