Ultra m998 Mid-Tower ATX Case
The days of generic cases have long since gone. You can find some better built
and flashier cases from just about every online retailer as well as any larger
scale PC store. Only the smallest computer shops still seem to carry the
blandest, most generic looking cases that basically have no special features
other than keeping the computer system inside. The price range of generic
enclosures can start as cheap as $15 and reach $45 before features start to show
up. You might save some money on those cases, but the bottom line is that you
get what you pay for. And that's not much anymore these days.
Huge solution providers like Dell, HP, and Gateway offer all kinds of pre-built
systems that have moved away from anything that resembles and uneventful
computer system. One thing they've all learned is that better looking cases
definitely help sell a system even if it doesn't contain the best gaming
hardware around. While entry level cases have improved externally, they leave
much to be desired internally. The internal features come up short and often are
still limited in what you can do to make them look better.
If you want something that is some what unique and offers a whole new field of
features, you'll basically have to move away from those guys and venture in to
the online world. With a little searching, you can find vendors like Newegg,
TigerDirect, and ZipZoomFly that sell many after market enclosures that flaunt
all kinds of bells and whistles. You can find them with and without side panel
windows that typically show off your insane new gaming system. If you're
searching around now, you might consider this new m998 Enclosure from Ultra.
It's not the typical run of the mill case and it has the features that matters,
including all aluminum construction, as well as a couple things you haven't
seen. If you've got a few minutes, have a look.
