A Closer Look:
The G3T is very lightweight and thin in profile. The "double dragon" design is a nice touch, just too bad you really never see it since the notebook sits right on top of it, so that's kind of a waste in my opinion. The cost for that could've been better spent on other things more practical. Underneath the cooler you see a pair of 70mm cooling fans. You can position these fans for intake (default) or exhaust. The housing for the dual fans is black plastic screwed to the aluminum base. Unscrewing the fan base was easy, albeit a tedious process. There are 6 microscopic screws to remove to get the fan cover off. I mean, they're tiny! However the worst part of that is the screws to hold the fan cover on only fasten by jamming in between 2 strips of aluminum! In other words, there are no threaded holes on the aluminum base for the fan cover screws...take a look at the lower right pic.... The screws did refasten tightly to the aluminum base, but you gotta wonder how long that will last. Looking at the fans and connections inside the cover, you can see it's extremely easy to replace the fans should you want something different in there. Once again though, a bit tedious. 4 screws per fan is overkill. I would've liked to see some kinda clips or grooves to hold the fans in place, but ahh well..
