Introduction: November 2005: my first review for VH, which was the Thermaltake Swing case. Fast forward to today's review, and we have the Thermaltake SopranoRS 101 - which, to me, looks like an updated version of the Swing enclosure. Some of the new features include a bezel door, upgraded tool-free mounting systems, and a window panel with the option to add additional fans. One feature that stands out will be the High-gloss Piano finish on the bezel and door. About Thermaltake: Thermaltake
Technology Co., Ltd. started its core business based on our extensive knowledge
of PC thermal management during the era where the area of performance CPU
cooling was only exclusive for "overclockers" or PC enthusiasts. With the
company's initial launch of Orb coolers, it created waves of shocks and
appraisals throughout the gaming and overclocking communities. Thermaltake
quickly became the name gamers turn to when they need high-end and reliable
thermal solutions. Specifications:
Packaging:
Thermaltake kept the retail box simple by leaving it cardboard-brown with the graphics details done in black ink. The shipping protection on the inside is done with the regular Styrofoam, but the case is wrapped in a fabric bag versus a plastic bag. This might be done to prevent scratching to the piano finish. << Back to VH FrontPage | A Closer Look >>
