Thermaltake Max 4 e-Sata/USB 2.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure

Introduction:

Mass storage is all the rage these days and the most popular form of adding massive storage to a pre-built machine (desktop or laptop) is by using an external hard drive enclosure. With simple installation taking only seconds, and the ability to be used on virtually every computer from the last 7-10 years via a USB connection, external hard drive enclosures offer the end user the ability to expand their storage space with ease. Simply add hard drive and plug in to correct port. That's it.

Today I'll be looking at a new line of external hard drive enclosures from Thermaltake called the Max 4 Active Cooling External HDD Enclosure. This particular hard drive enclosure accepts 3.5" hard drives and connects to either USB 2.0 or eSATA on your computer. It's comes in silver with black trim and a blue LED fan.
