Introduction:

    The trend of keeping the inside of a computer case clean and air flow friendly started by zip-tying cables together. Then it went to covering the cables in wire loom. Today, the newest method is the modular cable system. Seasonic jumped on this trend and developed their own style of detachable modular DC cables with their line of M12 power supplies.

   The M12's come in three power options of 500W, 600W and 700W, the 700W being Quad SLI Ready. If you are familiar with Seasonic power supplies, then you know they are not blinged out; instead, they are more refined. They don't depend on the bling factor and fancy LED's to sell their products. Rather, they use quality parts to get their message across. I personally will take plain and dull if it means superior quality any day of the week. I always say, "If you buy junk, you buy twice!".

    That being said, here's a little bit about the M12 power supply I have the honor of reviewing: the M12-700W model. The M12 line of power supplies have been upgraded to aluminum electrolytic capacitors and dual fans. Also, they have been given a PFC rating of 99%PF and an efficiency rating of 85%, and, as mentioned above, the modular cable system. The M12-700W would be the choice for high-end gamers who want the best of everything. High Performance, Low Noise, Quad SLI Ready and Dependability.
