Inside:

To get a real feel and understanding of what the PC-A10B has to offer, I pulled all the thumb screws out and paneling off. What you see is cleanliness and order. Thanks to the extra depth of the case, you get an extra couple inches between the motherboard area and drive bays which is always nice for maneuvering wires and connectors.

Starting with the upper portion of the chassis, there are quick release 5.25 drive bays at the upper right with the motherboard tray on the top left. At the bottom of the 5.25 area, Lian Li includes a special slot for your Floppy Disk Drive. The FDD will mount normally but also has a nice clean matching front so that no matter what FDD you have it will match the chassis.

That horizontal rectangular aluminum vent mounted on the center back of the chassis is the Patent side fan. It's installed as an exhaust fan blowing warm air out the case's back. The top mounted 12cm fan is installed as an intake fan pulling cooler air in through the top of the case. Typically, we see both the top and upper back fans configured as exhaust fans since warm air rises. It will be interesting to see what the sensor shows under performance.

The lower portion is divided from the upper except for the openings intended for running the power supply cabling. The bottom front has two removable hard drive bays that are held in by 1 thumb screw each. In front of those bays is another 12 cm intake silent fan that can be removed easily thanks to two thumb screws. The bigger removable bay can hold 3 drives and uses specific included screws and rubber grommets for limiting noise and vibration. The smaller bay already has the rubber grommets mounted so all you need is the specific drive screws as well.

Lian Li has included all the rubber grommets, screws for the grommet kit, screws for mounting the motherboard, white plastic wire rings for tiding up potential wire mess, a few zip ties, and the socket tool for installing the motherboard standoff screws. The case manual is nothing more than a single sheet of directions and in very simplified format. Anyone could understand these directions and picture examples.

4-Pin P4 Jumper

One very cool accessory Lian Li included is a 24-pin Power Connector extension. And it's not just any extension either as it has an attached Green to Black wire jumper also with a 24-pin connector. This will come in very handy for those installing water cooling kits who need to short the green and black wire to allow the pump system to prime. This is a very nice touch Lian Li!
