Kingwin Heat-Pipe Direct Touch CPU Coolers

Introduction:

Coming up in this review I will be going over a couple of CPU coolers from Kingwin. These two coolers are from the H.D.T. series and put a new spin on CPU cooling. H.D.T. stands for Heat-pipe Direct Touch, which means the heat-pipes make physical contact with the CPU directly. Does this new type of design make cooling a CPU more efficient or will the older style prove to still be better?

The Revolution RVT-12025 H.D.T. CPU cooler is a tower style, made to stand vertically so that it fits in most standard cases. The RVT-12025D, on the other hand, is a lower profile design that can fit into smaller enclosures. With that said, let's go on to the review and compare the two coolers.
