If you really need
installation directions, then you shouldn't be using a computer. Find a free USB
port and plug in the flash drive. DONE! SiSoftware Sandra Pro XI 2007.1.11.17
was used and was provided to use from
Jagged Online. The
Removable Storage benchmark was used on each DataTraveler, and the results are
listed below.
Total Size :
984MB
Free Space : 991MB, 101%
Cluster Size : 16kB
Conclusion:
Bottom line: we know that
Kingston offers a
solid line of memory based products. The
DataTraveler's are definitely in that
class of rugged and reliable products. The DataTraveler Reader is without a
doubt a slick little unit. The thought of adding a media card reader into a USB
flash drive is just another way to simplify our cluttered lives. With
Kingston
and Microsoft working together, the DataTraveler ReadyFlash was created using the
next generation of memory technology. The Windows ReadyBoost feature provides
users with a way to increase system performance by using the ReadyFlash drive as
additional system resources.
This review may
not be lengthy, but I felt I got to the point on each of the flash drives'
features. The benchmarks on the ReadyFlash show the speed of the DRAM used within
the device and the DT Reader may not be the fastest flash on the market, but the
built-in card reader sure makes up for that. With the need for fast, reliable,
and portable media, Kingston is the place to go for such devices. I would
like to thank the folks over at Kingston
Technology for sending these items out for VH to review.
