Introduction:

In Win NA 3.5" External Hard Drive Enclosure

And we're back with more In Win innovative thinking. There are literally hundreds of different kinds of external drive enclosures available in the states alone. One can only imagine how many there are the world over. But, with so many options just in the states alone, it comes down to what makes one better than the other.

Let's consider a couple features that matter. We all like a seemingly attractive, or cool looking ED enclosure. That's a given. But, you want one that offers a connection interface that works with your computer. If your computer doesn't support eSATA devices, you obviously don't want to buy an enclosure that can only be connected via an eSATA cable. You'd want something with USB 2.0 support at least.

What's the difference you ask? Well, to put it simply, USB 2.0 performs slower than eSATA. USB 2.0 transfers at about a 30 MB/s a second versus eSATA at about 60 MB/s. The only thing better than an external drive enclosure that supports one feature is an enclosure that supports both. This is ideally the type you'll want to choose for maximum connectivity.

Now, what if a hard drive enclosure breaks away from conventional thinking and offers a less contemporary choice along with a bit of culture? Is that possible, you ask? In deed it is. Recently, I received the `NA 3.5" External Drive Enclosure from InWin. It's unlike any external enclosure most people have seen. Have a look and draw your own conclusions.

Features & Specifications:
Description:

Hidden beneath an ultra stylish and calming white exterior lies Na, a simple tool that makes collecting and storing digital pictures and videos a breeze. Outfitted with High Speed USB 2.0 and eSATA interfaces, Na makes for an excellent time-saving must-have for the artistic-tech savvy individual. A 1.5TB coupled with MAC support, you'll surely be the envy of all other external HD owners.
