The onboard BIOS of choice is the Phoenix Award BIOS. This version of the BIOS has some overclocking features built in. They are: voltage adjustments for the CPU, RAM, PCIe, FSB, and (G)MHC, as well as frequency adjustments the CPU, RAM, and for the PCIe x16 slots. Software:
On the drivers CD, in the utilities folder are several programs used for monitoring the status of the computer, and to help with overclocking the CPU and RAM while in the operating system. EasyTune 5 is the specific application that will allow you to change the multiplier and frequency in the operating system. Installation:
The installation was done on the HSPC Top Deck Tech Station, which allows me total access to the motherboard during the testing phase. That means I get to reset the BIOS easier whenever I try an oddball setting. TEST GEAR:
