FOXCONN 975X7AB-8EKRS2H

Introduction:

Like many motherboard manufacturers, FOXCONN is serious about keeping both AMD and Intel users as happy and content with any motherboard purchase. Recently, various Intel based 975 chipsets have finally been hitting the shelves. When the Core 2 Duo was released, the choices were very limited to a couple makers one of which was Asus and their P5B Motherboard. The 965 chipsets aren't much different than the 975 in stock features.

What changes more so is the features motherboard manufacturers are putting on the two chipset based boards. Both the 965 and 975 are stated to support upcoming Core 2 Quadro. The 975 chipset based motherboard we have today is the FOXCONN 975X7AB. The last board from FOXCONN we had the pleasure of reviewing (C51XEMAA2) took us by surprise. Today we expect the 975X7AB to keep up the new found tradition.
