EnzoTech Sapphire CPU Water Block

Introduction:

EnzoTech has had some great successes with quite a few of their aftermarket cooling items such as their Northbridge cooling and the Extreme-X CPU Cooler. Just to recap, the Northbridge SNB and SLF series are some of the most flawless chipset heat sinks you'll see that are a 100% copper and well made. The Extreme-X became a very, very quick favorite among all the VH staff because of its simple, very efficient design that not only keeps your dual or quad core very cool, but also cools your motherboard's components at the same time. Overall, the Extrme-X is still one of the top best CPU coolers since it works so well and benefits every motherboard tested which is really important on enthusiast based platforms.

When EnzoTech told us about their newest CPU cooler, it wasn't a big surprise since water cooling is still the most cost efficient and aggressive form of cooling. While phase cooling may be a more extreme form of cooling, it isn't affordable and is really intended for extreme overclockers. Since we're partial to what gives you the best cooling performance per cost, we were honored to receive the EnzoTech Sapphire CPU Water Block. It's EnzoTech's first premiere launch in to the water cooling market. And incidentally, they also released the SNBW-SLI (Northbridge) Water Block which looks to further compliment the CPU cooler since most users who go for that excellent system overclock will also appreciate a well cooled Northbridge chipset. Unfortunately, that wasn't included in the box. None the less, let's take a look at the Sapphire Water Block.

Specifications:

  • Super High Density, radial pattern, micro-pin design (0.5mm from pin to pin), provides maximum surface exposure area for superior cooling performance.

  • Direct Injection water flow design, delivers coolant straight to CPU core. Eight return holes pulls heated water away for extremely fast heat dissipation.

  • Metallic Mirror coating gives elegant style and superb finish.

  • Water block's base is machined to .0003 per inch run-out which optimizes surface contact and maximizes thermal conductivity performance.

  • Compatible with all 1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" coolant tubing.

  • 100% Leak Tested and inspected direct from factory.
