Introduction:

D-TEK Customs Fuzion Water Block

As water cooling continues to be the top extreme, feasible cooling method, more companies offer many, many variations of products aimed at improving upon performance. This typically requires months and months of machining and continued testing. Some ideas and designs make it and others are revamped till they are ready for release. Sometimes, we see several variations of products like back when AMD and Intel, as well as ATI an NVidia, kept changing socket and PCB designs like shirts. Many companies had to adjust and invest a lot of money to keep their cooling blocks up to date and able to work with as many processors as possible. This didn't help the industry and in fact, caused many users to not consider water cooling due to the increased confusion.

D-TEK Customs Fuzion GFX Water Block

D-TEK Customs is one of the latest companies to make the entrance in to the water cooling sector. Right out of the gate, their concepts were intended to simplify the change over to water cooling by creating blocks capable of cooling everything. Newcomers rarely release a first generation block that can turn heads. However, when you do your homework, your chances of success increase exponentially. Here is a little bit about D-TEK Customs.

In our short life, D-TEK CUSTOMS has been instrumental in a number of innovations now considered standard in the liquid cooling industry. Some well known and others not so. We are the original source of many ideas on the market today, such as:

  • True 1/2" System Kits and 1/2" tubing

  • Early Hi-Flow Waterblock design

  • Poly and Acrylic Topped Waterblock with O-ring seal

  • Bay Reservoirs

  • Heatercore Radiators exclusively designed for watercooling

  • Fan shrouds

  • Hi-Flow nickel plated O-ring barbs exclusively designed for watercooling components

  • UV water dye made for liquid cooling applications

When you look around, you will see a lot of these products being used and sold in stores. And you can be sure D-TEK CUSTOMS was the first to manufacture and sell them in the liquid cooling market. D-TEK CUSTOMS remains dedicated to this industry while always striving for perfection in the next generation of liquid cooling.

Being an avid system exploiter, I definitely enjoy a look at something new and different. D-Tek Customs has had some pretty cool ideas from the start and continues to show improvements for simpler water cooling products that make designing their own cooling system. Sharka Computers was kind enough to send us D-Tek's latest two water cooling D-TEK FuZion and FuZion GFX water blocks which have received a pretty cool face lift. Sharka Computers is a great place to get some impressive performance hardware, so naturally it makes sense they would pick up something that can appeal and perform the way enthusiasts would expect.
