    Fraps was used to check the FPS in these game demos. It is a very simple program that works in the background and displays the frame on the screen.

D3D RightMark 1.05.0

    This program is a great tool for testing the throughputs of a graphics processing chip. Below are the results of the Geometry Processing Speed tests, including Fixed Function Pipeline, VS1.1, VS 2.0 SFC (Static Flow Control,) and VS 3.0 DFC (Dynamic Flow Control.)

Performance Test:

    The program used for this next set of tests quickly and easily performs PC speed testing and benchmarking. PassMark PerformanceTest allows you to objectively benchmark a PC using a variety of different speed tests and compare the results to other computers. I just used the graphics portion of the program to test the EAX1300PRO.

Conclusion:

     From my point of view, this card played Doom3, Far Cry and Quake4 with no issues and really looked sharp at the same time. Based on the fact that it shares similar attributes to the X1800, it's no wonder why. Just remember that every setting can't be cranked all the way up. Also keep in mind that the rest of the computer's hardware needs to be fairly up to date and running a minimum of 1GB of RAM in order for it to perform at its best.

    Overall, this card is a great value and certainly an excellent buy. If you are looking for a budget card or just can't afford a high-end graphics card, the ASUS EAX1300PRO is your ticket to enjoying the games you love.
