Outside Shell:

Remember, this is a server case and not some fancy-shmancy case with tons of frills. The outside shell is painted black, and the door has vent openings that sort of remind me of a colander. As with all server cases, the typical mounting tabs and hand rails are included here. On the left side of the case there are some vent holes, and on the left side there is an 80mm fan intake.

Right Side Intake

On the rear of the server case is one 120mm fan intake and the typical layout for the motherboard, including 7 PCI slots and the opening for the motherboard I/O ports.

Thumbscrews

The front door comes with a 2-stage style lock. Turning the wing nut on the lock will lock/unlock the door. This keeps the door from falling open when not being serviced. When the door is in the locked position, the key is used to lock the wing nut, which keeps unwanted people from gaining access to the front of the server case.

Door Hinge

Opening the door renders access to the main switches. The power and reset switches are not the standard push button type, but rather they're rocker switches. Below the switches are one Firewire and two USB ports.

To the left of the switches are the optical drives, and to the right is the location of the HDD trays. The four HDD trays are held into place with thumbscrews that stay attached to the tray. So, no more dropping the screws and having them roll under the server rack, being lost forever.
