Vibration damper

The side panel is secured in place with two thumbscrews and once those are removed, pull the latch and the door pulls away from the enclosure. Once inside, you will notice that the clean look extends itself to the interior. The hard drive rack, which sits sideways, has four slots. In those slots are removable trays with silicone rubber grommets to reduce HDD vibration.

EarthWatts PSU

120mm TriCool fan

One thing sticking out in the Sonata III is the power supply; it's not too often that a power supply is included with enclosures. The EarthWatts 500W PSU is the power supply that is included with the Sonata III. Back in April, 2007 I reviewed that very same power supply with good results. Below the PSU is one 120mm exhaust fan with the TriCool speed control.
