Introduction:

Antec Skeleton Enclosure

Change can be an ambiguous occurrence. Besides the fact it affects everything, it tends to happen whether we're prepared for it or not. Change can be scary, or it can be exciting. Around here, change is welcomed. While it doesn't have to be new, it's nice to see something original.

In general, computer cases haven't evolved much mainly due to motherboards which have retained their size and not evolving. It's still the largest component in a case, so it tends to dictate and limit just how much can be changed. Because of that reason, most cases still come with the same square internal layout. Sure, there are quite a few cases offering windows, extra HUGE fans, many fans, lighting, aluminum, and color schemes that at least add a variety. Still, it's only the appearance.

Now, there are a couple companies that have made some significant alterations that greatly influence the look and layout of some cases. DangerDen changed up the standard shape to accommodate their water cooling kits which still works great for air cooled systems. Heck, servicing the system alone is a breeze not to mention looks sweet at the same time inside all that acrylic.

On the other side of the same standard, Antec has pretty much defined how a standard case should be designed. And up until recently, this was their only platinum accomplishment. Getting back in to the spirit of game, Antec broke outside the box and released the Skeleton. What you'll see here isn't anything like anyone else has done.
