Antec P190 Super Advanced Mid Tower
The nature of enclosures these days follow three main themes and objectives. One
theme involves nothing more than a generic blend of some function and form using
a few flashy mods to entice buyers. Another theme follows the common all
aluminum chassis means better function and cooling which is almost always more
expensive than the first. It's very hard to design a lightweight chassis that
can cut down on noise being built with near paper thin aluminum materials.
Current top of the line components are louder and can easily be heard through
aluminum enclosures. The third theme is all function and form using more
substantial chassis materials to cut down on noise which means additional weight
will be added on to the enclosure. This design, however, has a much greater
chance of success since noise can be cut down dramatically while still offering
up every useful tooless and silencing feature.
The Performance One series, specifically the P180, has done extremely well among
the largest group of eclectic users offering up silencing and functional
features. The P1xx series refuse to fade away in popularity and have been a
great success. We recently reviewed the P182 with many various upgrades and
improvements. And if that success weren't already enough, Antec decided to
release a limited number of P182 SE enclosures with that awesome chrome finish
with, yet again, the same upgrades and improvements varying from wire
management, internal USB work LED, black anodized interior, and liquid cooling
ports. The biggest issue anyone has ever had with the P1XX series has been its
internal chassis space. It can get a bit tight inside that chassis especially if
you have a lot of larger graphics cards and even with your own liquid cooling
system.
Antec's marketing and
design team have been hard at work rethinking and redesigning an already
successful enclosure. I mean, is it really possible or feasible to change up the
current lineup and add to its success with something new building upon and
already existing winner? Sure, why not! Have a quick look at the
Antec P190 Super Advanced Mid Tower.

Multiply Your Performance
Introducing the P190,
a case that stands apart from all others. Bigger and better than the
rest, the P190 has room to handle even the biggest hardware;
Extended ATX, multiple graphics cards, dual CPU’s, and
liquid-cooling are all no problem for the P190.
Powering all your
hardware in this case is the unique Neo-Link dual power supply
system. A dual setup of two individual power supplies linked
together to give you a total of 1200 Watts of power. There are dual
top mounted 140mm exhaust fans, a rear 120mm fan and a 200mm "Big
Boy" fan mounted in the side door; all 3-speed TriCool fans and
ideal for cooling even the hottest new technology. You won’t have to
worry about the noise coming from your hardware either, as the P190
is built with Quiet Computing in mind, featuring silicone grommets
for the hard drive mounts and special dual layer sound deadening
side panels. All these features and more make the P190 the most
advanced performance case yet.
