 Distributed Computing Projects Page

This is where you will find the Distributed Computing Teams that VH has set up a while ago. All the teams here were managed by our DC Guru, Thor. However he seems to be alittle too busy lately, so the DC efforts of the VH DC Team have suffered. I apologize, and am working on a solution.

I'm currently looking for experienced DC gurus who would be interested in taking over Virtual-Hideout's DC efforts. - Diceman

If you have any questions, or would like to express interest related to the teams, or it's management, please contact Diceman. Thank you.

Official Stanford Stats page:

With the introduction of version 2.0 a new stats system was released. This has forced me to create a new identity in the 2.0 stats, along with a new team for VH. My recommendation is to run the Command Line only client as they always seem to be the fastest and have the least trouble. For the Command Line Version when you run it for the first time, use the command line "FAH2Console -config" to setup user and team information. When Prompted, enter the username you wish to use followed by 570 for the Team Number (this will put you on the VH Team). Answer the rest of the questions according to your situation. NOTE: the default proxy setting is set to use a proxy...if you have a direct connection to the internet...MAKE SURE TO CHANGE THIS. The Client will start to fold.

Welcome to the VH Folding@home Team!

News
Obviously I haven't updated this page in a while. In case you didn't know the 64 Bit Key was cracked as of July 14th 2002. Because of this they have started a new project to crack a 72 Bit Key. Besides myself only one other person on the team switched over to 72 Bit so far.
