Everyone one else has had some pictures up of
various booth-babes. This is of course isn't the only thing at E3 this year, but
it definitely counts as eye candy. The two or three gentlemen you see in some of
the pictures are buddies of mine from Earthlink. This year's crowd looks to be
larger than last years.
You could spend as much as two days trying out
every video game or console demo at the event. It just takes up so much space and
they are
so spread out. Its quite easy to zone out and forget which booths you have
already visited. Sensory overload starts to set in after day 2 of games, swag,
and trying to keep track. The major software, video game, and hardware vendors
spend a couple days giving their lectures and promotions of upcoming titles and
releases.
My gosh, the expense put in to a movie set. And
yes, lots of movie swag to weigh down the bags. Enemy Territory Quake Wars had
a huge line waiting to play the demo. If they are showing something off that's
playable, the release must not be too far off. Maybe tomorrow we'll get some
video of the game in action and find out what system specs they are using to
show off the demo.
